UPU - Universal Postal Union boycotts shipping to Palestine.
Quando recebi devolvido pelos CTT – Correia de Portugal um pacote com o catálogo que enviamos da VII BHLOG Espinhal Penela para a palestiniana Safaa Odah fiquei ofendido e reclamei esta parcialidade política dos nossos correio em relação a pessoas que vivem, por acaso na Palestina, como poderiam viver noutros locais.

e troféu do Prémio que ganhou na VII Bienal de Humor Luis d'Oliveira Guimarães
- Espinhal Penela e os correios devolvem o embrulho enviado pelo Município de
Penela dizendo que já não enviam correio para aquele território. É uma vergonha
para o país e para um serviço que devia estar acima das políticas, que devia
ser universal.
Os serviços dos CTT (os quais já foram muito melhores do que os da actualidade) responderam que a culpa não é deles, ou seja eles tem um sistema que é o DAVA que inviabiliza o envio de correio para certas zonas, ou seja países que a UPU – União Postal Universal não reconhece. Ou seja é o sistema internacional, ou seja a reguladora internacional UPU que dá as ordens para que países as pessoas podem enviar correio, ou não. Curiosamente, no ano passado, enviei uma encomenda para a Palestina e Safaa Odash recebeu. Este ano a Palestina já está de novo fora da lista de países que a UPU aceita. Disseram os CTT que em 2018 Israel entregou 10 toneladas de correspondência que tinha retido desde 2010. Pelos visto Israel está de novo a reter o correio dirigido à Palestina ou a não aceitar esse correio.
Portugal quer enviar o que pertence a Safaa Odah, a União Postal Universal não deixa…

of Humor Luis d'Oliveira Guimarães - Espinhal Penela and the post office
returns the package sent by the Municipality of Penela saying that they no
longer send mail to that territory. It is a shame for the country and for a
service that should be above politics,that should be universal.

services (which were already much better than those of today) answered that it
is not their fault, that is, they have a system that is the DAVA that makes it
impossible to send mail to certain areas, that is, countries that UPU -
Universal Postal Union does not recognize. In other words, it is the
international system, that is, the UPU international regulator that gives
orders to which countries people can send mail, or not. Interestingly, last year,
I sent an order to Palestine and Safaa Odash received it. This year Palestine
is again off the list of countries that the UPU accepts. CTT said that in 2018
Israel delivered 10 tonnes of correspondence that it had withheld since 2010.
Apparently, Israel is again withholding mail addressed to Palestine or not
accepting that mail.
Portugal
wants to send what belongs to Safaa Odah, the Universal Postal Union does not
let…
