ZAGREB 2010-01-19 15th INTERNATIONAL CARTOON EXHIBITIONA.
PARTICIPATION
The organizer of the 15th International festival of cartoon ZAGREB 2010 is the Croatian Cartoonist Association. The festival is opened for everyone regardless of nationality, age, sex, or profession.

1. Original works and digital artwork will be accepted. Digitalartwork is to be numbered in pencil on the front and pencilsigned. Copies cannot be admitted.
2. Entries can be either black and white or coloured.
3. There should be the name, the surname and the adress on thereverse side of cartoons.
4. The cartoons must not have been previously awarded onfestivals.
5. Maximum 3 entries will be submitted.6. Size of entries is A4 or A3 format.

International Cartoon Exhibition – Exploitation and workers’ rights, a critical look through a humoristic Line!
At a moment like this, in which, with the excuse of the actual economic crisis, the exploitation and the assault to the rights of the workers, in order to pursue with the accumulation of scandalous profits by economic groups, the Portuguese Communist Party challenged Humorgrafe to collaborate in some journeys of reflection with the participation of cartoonists from all around the world and from different political and ideological choices to, from their own philosophical and humoristic thoughts, contribute to this initiative - Exploitation and workers’ rights through a humoristic line, with their artistic works about the important questions that at this moment, affect millions of Portuguese and worldwide workers: the unemployment, the low wages and the precarious job.
a) The P C P, in collaboration with Humorgrafe prepares a journey of enlightenment about the rights of workers. The struggle for the dignity of labour, the exploitation of millions of human beings and the outrageous profits of big business, increasing unemployment and social trail of destruction, the struggle of workers as a factor of rupture and change the life of the population, are elements compelling when we look at the world in which we live.
We invite cartoonists from around the world to meditate on various topics within this area include: job insecurity as a factor in the return to a past without rights, low wages versus paying a fortune for managers and scandalous profits, unemployment and its trail of poverty, destruction wealth and productive capacity. b) Each artist can participate up to 4 entries, in black and white (one colour) sent by e-mail (300 dpis - jpeg) to humorgrafe_oms@yahoo.com . Sending work to the exhibition requires the waiver of copyright for publications (with no lucrative aims) of these journeys.
c) The deadline is February 26th 2010, and the exhibition opened next March 18th, in Lisbon. Eventually the exhibition will be displayed in other locations
d) The work will be selected by jury for the exhibition catalogue and other publications involved in this event - Exploration and workers' rights by the stroke of humor. The campaign held it during the years 2010 / 2011 Selected works may be used by prosecutors in this period of this initiative. All artists will be notified and will receive two copies of all publications (on paper) where they used their work.

"En un momento en que, bajo el pretexto de la crisis actual, la intensificación de la explotación y los derechos de los trabajadores de ataque 'para proceder a la acumulación de ganancias escandalosas de los grupos empresariales, el PCP desafío Humorgrafe a colaborar en unas sesiones de reflexión con la colaboración dibujantes y caricaturistas de todo el mundo y de diferentes opciones políticas e ideológicas para que, desde su propia reflexión filosófico-humorístico, puede participar en esta iniciativa - Operación y los derechos de los trabajadores por el golpe de humor - con su obra de arte en las principales cuestiones que hoy afectan a millones de trabajadores en Portugal y el mundo: el desempleo, los bajos salarios y trabajo precario ".
a) El Partido Comunista Portugués, en colaboración con Humorgrafe prepara el camino de la iluminación sobre los derechos de los trabajadores. La lucha por la dignidad del trabajo, la explotación de millones de seres humanos y las ganancias escandalosas de las grandes empresas, el aumento del desempleo y la ruta social de la destrucción, la lucha de los trabajadores como un factor de ruptura y cambiar la vida de la población, son elementos convincentes cuando nos fijamos en el mundo en que vivimos.
Te invitamos a caricaturistas de todo el mundo a meditar sobre diversos temas dentro de esta área son: la inseguridad laboral como un factor en el regreso a un pasado sin derechos, los bajos salarios versos pagar una fortuna para los administradores y las ganancias escandalosas, el desempleo y su estela de pobreza, la destrucción la riqueza y la capacidad productiva.
b) Cada artista puede participar hasta 4 trabajos en blanco y negro, (uno color) enviadas por e-mail (300 inhaladores de polvo seco - JPEG) a humorgrafe_oms@yahoo.com . Envío de trabajos a la exposición exige la renuncia del derecho de autor de las publicaciones (beneficio) de estos viajes. Enviar igualmente en enderezo postal para después enviar el catálogo.
c) El plazo es de febrero 26 de 2010, y la exposición se inauguró el jueves, 18 de marzo en Lisboa. Finalmente, la exposición se instalará en otros lugares
d) Los trabajos serán seleccionados por el jurado para el catálogo de la exposición y otras publicaciones que participan en este evento - Exploración y los derechos de los trabajadores por el golpe de humor. La campaña desarrollada durante los años 2010 / 2011 Las obras seleccionadas podrán ser utilizados por los fiscales en este período de esta iniciativa. Todos los artistas serán notificados y recibirán dos copias de todas las publicaciones (en papel), donde se usa su trabajo.
e) Es un proyecto con la organización del Partido Comunista Portugués, la producción de Humorgrafe, y como director artístico de Osvaldo Macedo de Sousa.
Salon international de Caricature - «L'exploration et les droits des travailleurs, regard critique sur le tableau de bord de l'humour"
«À une époque où, sous le prétexte de la crise actuelle, l'intensification de l'exploitation et des droits des travailleurs attaque« de procéder à l'accumulation des profits scandaleux par des groupes d'entreprises, le PCP à défi Humorgrafe aux séances de réflexion avec la collaboration dessinateurs et caricaturistes de tous les coins du globe et les différentes options politiques et idéologiques, de sorte que, à partir de sa propre réflexion philosophique et humoristique, peuvent participer à cette initiative - Fonctionnement et les droits des travailleurs par le coup de l'humour - avec ses œuvres d'art sur les grandes questions qui touchent aujourd'hui des millions de travailleurs au Portugal et dans le monde: chômage, bas salaires et le travail précaire».
a) Le Parti communiste portugais, en collaboration avec Humorgrafe prépare un voyage d'éveil sur les droits des travailleurs. La lutte pour la dignité du travail, l'exploitation de millions d'êtres humains et les profits scandaleux des grandes entreprises, le chômage croissant et une piste de destruction sociale, la lutte des travailleurs en tant que facteur de rupture et de changer la vie de la population, sont des éléments convaincant quand on regarde le monde dans lequel nous vivons.
Nous invitons les caricaturistes du monde entier de méditer sur divers thèmes dans ce domaine sont: la précarité des emplois comme un facteur dans le retour à un passé sans droits, les bas salaires verses de payer une fortune pour les gestionnaires et les profits scandaleux, le chômage et son cortège de pauvreté, de la destruction la richesse et la capacité productive.
b) Chaque artiste peut participer jusqu'à 4 travaux en noir et blanc (une couleur) envoyé par e-mail (300 dpis - jpeg) à humorgrafe_oms@yahoo.com . Envoi de travaux à l'exposition exige la renonciation du droit d'auteur pour les publications (profit) de ces voyages. Adresse également après l'envoi du catalogue
c) La date limite est le 26 Février, 2010, et l'exposition a été inaugurée le jeudi, Mars 18, à Lisbonne. Finalement, l'exposition sera présentée dans d'autres endroits
d) Les travaux seront sélectionnés par un jury pour le catalogue d'exposition et d'autres publications associées à cet événement - exploration et les droits des travailleurs par le coup de l'humour. La campagne qu'elle a tenues au cours des années 2010 / 2011 Les travaux sélectionnés mai être utilisés par les procureurs dans cette période de cette initiative. Tous les artistes seront informés et recevront deux exemplaires de toutes les publications (sur papier), où ils ont utilisé leur travail.
e) C'est un projet avec l'organisation du Parti communiste portugais, Humorgrafe production, et en tant que directeur artistique Osvaldo Macedo de Sousa.

“Num momento em que, a pretexto da actual crise, se intensifica a exploração e o ataque aos direitos dos trabalhadores para prosseguir com a acumulação de lucros escandalosos por parte dos grupos económicos, o PCP desafiou a Humorgrafe a colaborar numas jornadas de reflexão com a colaboração cartoonistas e caricaturistas de vários pontos do globo e de diferentes opções políticas e ideológicas para que, a partir da sua própria reflexão filosófico-humoristica, possam participar nesta iniciativa - Exploração e direitos dos trabalhadores pelo traço do humor - com o seu trabalho artístico sobre as grandes questões que hoje atingem milhões de trabalhadores em Portugal e no mundo: o desemprego, os baixos salários e o trabalho precário.”

A luta pela dignidade do trabalho, a exploração de milhões de seres humanos e os lucros escandalosos dos grandes grupos económicos, o aumento do desemprego e o rasto de destruição social, a luta dos trabalhadores como factor de ruptura e mudança da vida dos Povos, são elementos incontornáveis quando olhamos para o mundo em que vivemos.
Convidamos os cartoonistas de todo o mundo a meditarem sobre vários temas dentro desta área designadamente: precariedade no trabalho como factor de regresso a um passado sem direitos; salários baixos versos salários milionários para os gestores e lucros escandalosos; desemprego e o seu rasto de pobreza, destruição de riqueza e capacidade produtiva.
b) Cada artista pode participar até 4 trabalhos a preto e branco (uma cor)enviados por e-mail (300 dpis – jpeg) para humorgrafe_oms@yahoo.com. O envio de trabalhos para a exposição pressupõe a dispensa dos direitos de autor para as publicações (sem fins lucrativos) destas jornadas. Devem enviar também endereço para posterior envio do catalogo
c) O prazo limite é o dia 26 de Fevereiro de 2010, sendo a exposição inaugurada na quinta-feira, dia 18 de Março, em Lisboa. Eventualmente a exposição poderá ser exibida noutras localidades

Te invitamos a caricaturistas de todo el mundo a meditar sobre diversos temas dentro de esta área son: la inseguridad laboral como un factor en el regreso a un pasado sin derechos, los bajos salarios versos pagar una fortuna para los administradores y las ganancias escandalosas, el desempleo y su estela de pobreza, la destrucción la riqueza y la capacidad productiva.
b) Cada artista puede participar hasta 4 trabajos en blanco y negro, (uno color) enviadas por e-mail (300 inhaladores de polvo seco - JPEG) a humorgrafe_oms@yahoo.com . Envío de trabajos a la exposición exige la renuncia del derecho de autor de las publicaciones (beneficio) de estos viajes. Enviar igualmente en enderezo postal para después enviar el catálogo.
c) El plazo es de febrero 26 de 2010, y la exposición se inauguró el jueves, 18 de marzo en Lisboa. Finalmente, la exposición se instalará en otros lugares
d) Los trabajos serán seleccionados por el jurado para el catálogo de la exposición y otras publicaciones que participan en este evento - Exploración y los derechos de los trabajadores por el golpe de humor. La campaña desarrollada durante los años 2010 / 2011 Las obras seleccionadas podrán ser utilizados por los fiscales en este período de esta iniciativa. Todos los artistas serán notificados y recibirán dos copias de todas las publicaciones (en papel), donde se usa su trabajo.
e) Es un proyecto con la organización del Partido Comunista Portugués, la producción de Humorgrafe, y como director artístico de Osvaldo Macedo de Sousa.
Salon international de Caricature - «L'exploration et les droits des travailleurs, regard critique sur le tableau de bord de l'humour"
«À une époque où, sous le prétexte de la crise actuelle, l'intensification de l'exploitation et des droits des travailleurs attaque« de procéder à l'accumulation des profits scandaleux par des groupes d'entreprises, le PCP à défi Humorgrafe aux séances de réflexion avec la collaboration dessinateurs et caricaturistes de tous les coins du globe et les différentes options politiques et idéologiques, de sorte que, à partir de sa propre réflexion philosophique et humoristique, peuvent participer à cette initiative - Fonctionnement et les droits des travailleurs par le coup de l'humour - avec ses œuvres d'art sur les grandes questions qui touchent aujourd'hui des millions de travailleurs au Portugal et dans le monde: chômage, bas salaires et le travail précaire».
a) Le Parti communiste portugais, en collaboration avec Humorgrafe prépare un voyage d'éveil sur les droits des travailleurs. La lutte pour la dignité du travail, l'exploitation de millions d'êtres humains et les profits scandaleux des grandes entreprises, le chômage croissant et une piste de destruction sociale, la lutte des travailleurs en tant que facteur de rupture et de changer la vie de la population, sont des éléments convaincant quand on regarde le monde dans lequel nous vivons.
Nous invitons les caricaturistes du monde entier de méditer sur divers thèmes dans ce domaine sont: la précarité des emplois comme un facteur dans le retour à un passé sans droits, les bas salaires verses de payer une fortune pour les gestionnaires et les profits scandaleux, le chômage et son cortège de pauvreté, de la destruction la richesse et la capacité productive.
b) Chaque artiste peut participer jusqu'à 4 travaux en noir et blanc (une couleur) envoyé par e-mail (300 dpis - jpeg) à humorgrafe_oms@yahoo.com . Envoi de travaux à l'exposition exige la renonciation du droit d'auteur pour les publications (profit) de ces voyages. Adresse également après l'envoi du catalogue
c) La date limite est le 26 Février, 2010, et l'exposition a été inaugurée le jeudi, Mars 18, à Lisbonne. Finalement, l'exposition sera présentée dans d'autres endroits
d) Les travaux seront sélectionnés par un jury pour le catalogue d'exposition et d'autres publications associées à cet événement - exploration et les droits des travailleurs par le coup de l'humour. La campagne qu'elle a tenues au cours des années 2010 / 2011 Les travaux sélectionnés mai être utilisés par les procureurs dans cette période de cette initiative. Tous les artistes seront informés et recevront deux exemplaires de toutes les publications (sur papier), où ils ont utilisé leur travail.
e) C'est un projet avec l'organisation du Parti communiste portugais, Humorgrafe production, et en tant que directeur artistique Osvaldo Macedo de Sousa.
Exposição Internacional de cartoon – “ Exploração e direitos dos trabalhadores, olhar crítico a traço de humor”
“Num momento em que, a pretexto da actual crise, se intensifica a exploração e o ataque aos direitos dos trabalhadores para prosseguir com a acumulação de lucros escandalosos por parte dos grupos económicos, o PCP desafiou a Humorgrafe a colaborar numas jornadas de reflexão com a colaboração cartoonistas e caricaturistas de vários pontos do globo e de diferentes opções políticas e ideológicas para que, a partir da sua própria reflexão filosófico-humoristica, possam participar nesta iniciativa - Exploração e direitos dos trabalhadores pelo traço do humor - com o seu trabalho artístico sobre as grandes questões que hoje atingem milhões de trabalhadores em Portugal e no mundo: o desemprego, os baixos salários e o trabalho precário.”
a) O Partido Comunista Português, em colaboração com a Humorgrafe, prepara uma jornada de esclarecimento sobre os direitos dos trabalhadores.
A luta pela dignidade do trabalho, a exploração de milhões de seres humanos e os lucros escandalosos dos grandes grupos económicos, o aumento do desemprego e o rasto de destruição social, a luta dos trabalhadores como factor de ruptura e mudança da vida dos Povos, são elementos incontornáveis quando olhamos para o mundo em que vivemos.
Convidamos os cartoonistas de todo o mundo a meditarem sobre vários temas dentro desta área designadamente: precariedade no trabalho como factor de regresso a um passado sem direitos; salários baixos versos salários milionários para os gestores e lucros escandalosos; desemprego e o seu rasto de pobreza, destruição de riqueza e capacidade produtiva.
b) Cada artista pode participar até 4 trabalhos a preto e branco (uma cor)enviados por e-mail (300 dpis – jpeg) para humorgrafe_oms@yahoo.com. O envio de trabalhos para a exposição pressupõe a dispensa dos direitos de autor para as publicações (sem fins lucrativos) destas jornadas. Devem enviar também endereço para posterior envio do catalogo
c) O prazo limite é o dia 26 de Fevereiro de 2010, sendo a exposição inaugurada na quinta-feira, dia 18 de Março, em Lisboa. Eventualmente a exposição poderá ser exibida noutras localidades
d) Os trabalhos serão seleccionados por júri para a exposição, catálogo e demais publicações envolvidas neste evento – Exploração e direitos dos trabalhadores pelo traço do humor. Esta campanha realizar-se-á durante os anos de 2010 / 2011 podendo os trabalhos seleccionados serem usados nesse período pelos promotores desta iniciativa. Todos os artistas seleccionados serão notificados e receberão dois exemplares de todas as publicações (em papel) onde forem usados os seus trabalhos.
e) É um projecto com organização do partido Comunista Português, produção da Humorgrafe, tendo como director artístico Osvaldo Macedo de Sousa.

4. Entries: - Initially each participant can send at most 3 works in digital form via Internet to the following address: cartoon@caricature.eu. The author must indicate in his e-mail the following informations: his first name, last name, his complete address, his e-mail address, his phone number, his birth date, the category and the title or the number of each work. The characteristics of these electronic sendings are as follows: format JPEG, good quality and max. 500 KB per picture.
- Out of these e-mails the jury will make a selection of 90-120 drawings and will request from the authors of these works the sending by mail of the originals for the choice of the prizes and the publication in the catalogue. All these originals will be shown in the exhibition and in the catalogue. Their size will be min. DIN A4 (210x297mm) and max. DIN A3 (297x420mm), good quality paper, not folded and without a passe-partout. On the back side of every work must be clearly mentioned the first name, last name, complete address, e-mail address, phone number, birth date of the author, the category as well as the title or the number of the work. This deadline is 19th March 2010.
5. Technique: Free, black and white or in colour, without subtitles. Digitally created works are accepted. They must be signed by their creator on the back side and be numbered by 1/1. Photos and copies of original works will be eliminated.
6. Exhibition: The award ceremony of the adult category will be held on 7th May 2010 in the castle and the exhibition will take place in the Hall of the Knights of the Castle of Vianden from 8th May until 6th June 2010. It’s foreseen to show the works in other cities and in the Museum of Caricature and Cartoon of Vianden until 9th May 2011.
The award ceremony of youth category will be held during the itinerant exhibition at Shopping Center Belle Etoile in Bertrange from 16th to 25 September 2010.
7. Returns: After these exhibitions the originals will be returned to their authors except the works selected for one of the prizes. The awarded works will become property of the organizer.
The organizer cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of the return postage.
8. Catalogue: The authors whose works will be selected for the exhibition will receive a free catalogue by mail together with his work(s). Prize winners will get their catalogue during the award ceremony.

Artefacto 26 de Omar Zevallos
Queridos amigos!!!
Nuevamente con nuestro fieles lectores de América Latina y Europa, está listo el número 26 de la revista virtual Artefacto para que la disfruten. En este número hay una entrevista con la ilustradora peruana Shila Alvarado, creadora de las “Limeñas girls”; un homenaje al gran caricaturista David Levine, que murió en diciembre; y un adelanto del que será el libro de humor gastronómico de 4 humoristas peruanos.
