Às QuintasFalámos de BD - 27 de Março 21h CNBDI da Amadora - Heróis de Papel - Batman 75 Anos

O próximo encontro dedicado aos 75 Anos de Batman é já na próxima quinta-feira, dia 27 de março, pelas 21h00.

Para nos falarem deste super-herói norte-americano estarão presentes João Miguel Lameiras – especialista em banda desenhada que dará a conhecer o nascimento de Batman e desvendará um pouco da sua história – Luís Salvado – jornalista especializado em BD e cinema que recordará as várias vidas de Batman no cinema e a forma como todas elas refletiram não só as adaptações da BD ao grande ecrã mas, também, todo o cinema popular do respetivo período – e, ainda, José de Freitas, ex-editor da Devir que publicou Batman nos anos 2000.

Apareça! Na próxima quinta-feira venha tomar um café ao CNBDI e conhecer um pouco mais sobre a vida deste super-herói.

Crónica Rosário Breve: O primeiro a sair que diga por onde é que por Daniel Abrunheiro

Antigamente, só de alguns ofícios se podia afirmar, com razoável caução e inspirada garantia, que eram profissões/carreiras de muita saída. Por aflitiva e angustiosa e factual tristeza, hoje são-no quase todas: os professores estão de saída, os enfermeiros dirigem-se à saída aeroportuária, os operários navais estão como na canção do Fausto: “o barco vai de saída”, os funcionários públicos idem e etc. – tudo e todos tão de saída, que os mais novos nem a entrar chegam.

É isto que a lápis mental vou penosamente considerando quando dou de fuças, em parede antiga de viela baixa-histórica, com a seguinte gritante-garrafal-caixa-alta-vermelha-spray inscrição:

CRISTO VAI VOLTAR

– Outro D. Sebastião… – rosno eu para com as minhas miudezas botão-acústicas. – Ele que não faça isso, que neste morredouro de míseros nem para Ele há milagres – cuspinho eu à maneira dos fumadores de mata-ratos.

Tenho rosnado muito. Muito e em vão, à catedrática maneira dos revolucionários de sofá, neste cada vez mais redoliano barranco de cegos a que não adianta bradar Alto e pára o braille! Rosnar, rosno – mas quase tudo do quase-nada em que esta choldra piolheira descambou me dá pigarro canídeo à interjeição. E logo a mim, espécie de lobo desdentado que, se e quando alguma coisa mastiga que não seja o próprio cuspo, o faz mercê de uma geringonça dentada à base de resina acrílica plastificadora até do sorriso, quando algum.

No bolso dextro do blusão, porto um poema de amor inçado e inchado de turva fatalidade. Mandou-mo um amigo tristonho como eu, que como eu e comigo se carteia electronicamente a mote de tudo o que seja indignações, gajas boas e piadolas frescas. Reza assim a missiva (que fiz imprimir por masoquismo):

“Descemos 3 posições no Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano da ONU.

Défice sem baixar.
Dívida a chegar aos 220 mil milhões.
Adiamento do pagamento de dívida através da troca, de uma taxa de juro de 1,5%, para outra de 4,5%.

2 milhões de pobres, em 2011. E em 2013, 2,750 milhões.
E agora, dados de 2013, 660 mil famílias não conseguiram pagar empréstimos à banca.

7th INTERNATIONAL CONTEST OF CARICATURE AND CARTOON OF VIANDEN

1. Subject: The chair

2. Deadline:3thApril 2014

3. Prizes:1st prize:1500 €, 2nd prize: 1000 €, 3rd prize: 500 €, 3 honourable mentions

4. Entries:Initially, each participant can submit up to 3 entries in digital format by sending them via internet to the following address: cartoon@caricature.eu. The author must include the following details in his or her e-mail: first name, last name, complete address, e-mail address, phone number and the title or the number of each submission. The specifications for these electronic submissions are as follows: format JPEG, good quality, and max. 1,5 MB per picture. Out of these submissions, the jury will make a selection of 60-100 drawings. Only the awarded artists will be invited to send the original work by mail. All these works will be shown as prints at the exhibition and in the catalogue. Their size should be between A4 (210x297mm) and A3 (297x420mm).

5. Technique:Free, black and white or in colour, without subtitles.

6. Prizes and exhibition:The announcement of the prizes and honourable mentions will happen on 3th May 2014 in Castle of Vianden and the exhibition will take place in the Hall of the Knights of the Castle of Vianden from 4th May until 1th June 2014. There are plans to display the exhibits in the Museum of Caricature and Cartoon of Vianden and in other cities.

7. Returns: The drawings that were awarded one of the prizes will become property of the organizer.

8. Catalogue: The authors whose submissions are selected for the exhibition will receive a free catalogue by mail.

9. Results:The results will be published on the website www.caricature.eu on 4th May 2014.

The award winners selected by the jury will be personally informed via e-mail or by phone. The final decisions of the jury are incontestable.

10. Copyright:The selected participants give the organizers permission to use their drawings only for promoting the artist and the event itself. Every other aspect of the copyright remains with the artist (except for the awarded submissions). It ensures that the awarded works can no longer be submitted in other contests or published by their authors or third parties after the official publication of the results.

11. Generalities The submitted work should not have been awarded or published before the deadline of this contest. By taking part in this contest the participants accept the abovementioned rules.

Enrolment conditions
Any italian and foreign artist can enrol. The age limit is 16 years. Each participant is allowed to submit max 3 original works, not rewarded or reported in other competitions.
Aristic languages
Cartoon/Illustration/Satire > size A4 - A3
Comics > max. 2 pages, size A4 - A3
Animations video > maximum running time of 1 minute
Works do not meet the requirements will not be taken into account.

Images should have a minumum resolution of 300 dpi and saved in jpg or tiff format at the hightest quality.

Selection of works
The international jury will select the works that will be exhibited in the exhibition and published in the online catalog and sent in pdf format to the selected authors.
The jury meeting is scheduled for june 2, 2014.
The winners and mentioned undertake to send the original works not later than october 20, 2014.
