1st INTERNATIONAL CARTOON CONTEST SINALOA 2012
RULES
1.
PARTICIPATION
The
Contest is open to all
cartoonists from all over the world and beyond.
2.
THEME: Sexual Diversity
Sexual Diversity has existed in all societies at all
times. Sometimes it has been open and often, because of discrimination and
prejudice, it has been closeted.
Our theme this year respects the right of adults and
consenting human beings to express their different sexualities.
3.
THE PRIZES
1st
Prize: $2000 US dollars + plate.
2nd
Prize: $1500 US dollars + plate.
3rd
Prize: $1000 US dollars + plate.
Winners
will be notified by e-mail after 20th November 2012.
4.
ENTRIES - A
maximum of 3 works can be submitted by E-mail in any media, in black and white
or colour, but they should not have received a prize in other contests.
Works
should have a minimum resolution of 200
dpi and keep the proportions of a Letter size paper sheet
(21.5cms x 27.9cms). They should be sent to:

PROPERTY RIGHTS - Copyright
belongs to authors. The Contest will use some works, but only for promotional
purposes, such as publicity, the catalogue and the press.
9.
THE JURY. - The
jury is composed of three cartoon artists of international recognition. The
results of the contest will be published on 20th November 2012 by
the media and winners will be notified by e-mail. The decision of the jury is
final.
