We encourage all the cartoonist artists and designers to express, in their mode of thought and technical congenial, investigating this theme controversial and fascinating, from the most intimate aspects to the wider dimension of life.
A thought about the slowness all round.

1. Authors may submit an unlimited number of works, Studio d'Arte Andromeda reserving the right to expose those which, in its sole discretion, considers most adherent to the theme.
2. Works must be the originals, can be realized with any technique and must adhere strictly to the theme.
3. Maximum size allowed: A3
4. The works must arrive at the

5. The date of inauguration will be notified in time to all partipants.
6. The works will be returned on demand.
7. The Organization Committee will keep the prize-winner and signal works.
8. The Studio reserves the right to print a catalogue with the most significant works and the right to use the same access of information, news and documentats about the exhibition. The catalogue will be delivered during the opening or sent on request with the works.
9. The Studio d'Arte Andromeda don't answer of possible damaged or missing works, but maximum care of the delivered works is assured.
10. The contest has the following prizes:
- 1st Prize: €uro 1.000
- 2nd Prize: €uro 700
- 3rd Prize: €uro 500
- Youth Prize (age 15-29 years old): €uro 300- Audience Prize: Gift

OSVALDO MACEDO DE SOUSA - Investigator of national and international cartoon; curator of more them 300 exhibitions and author of more than 40 studies and biographies of graphic humorists. Natural do Porto (1954). Licenciado em História pela Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa.. Como Produtor Cultural e Historiador no campo do Humor Gráfico organizou mais de três centenas de Espectáculos, Conferências, Festas da Caricatura, Exposições por todo o país (inclusive Macau), Espanha, França, Alemanha, Croácia, Dinamarca, Brasil, Costa Rica, Suiça, Turquia, Polónia, Cuba. Na Imprensa tem publicado críticas de arte, crónicas, assim como entrevistas e artigos de fundo no âmbito cultural. Tem trabalhos publicados em jornais e revistas como: Diário de Notícias, O Dia, Jornal de Letras, Gazeta de Artes e Letras, Semanário, O Europeu, Heraldo, O Tempo, Diário Popular, O Primeiro de Janeiro, O Trevim, Jornal de Sintra, Região de Leiria, O Artista, Artes Plásticas, Artes e Leilões, São Carlos, História... Coordenador do Suplemento Humorístico "Bronkit" do Jornal Trevim (de 2000 a 2004, e segunda série iniciada em 2009); Editor do Nº Especial do "Sempre Fixe por Timor" (Outubro 1999, Agosto 2001). Foi director da Galeria Stuart (1984/5); Foi director da Casa do Humor em Lisboa(1989/90) Comissário das: Comemorações do Centenário do Nascimento de Stuart Carvalhais em Vila Real (1987); do Centenário do Nasc. de Christano Cruz em Leiria (1992); do 2º Cent. do Teatro de S. Carlos (1992); da Lx 94 – Capital Europeia da Cultura; da Exp. “Mário Soares - 20 Anos de Democracia Satírica” para a Presidência da República (Palácio de Belém - Lisboa e Macau) (1995); Comissário Nacional das Comemorações dos 150 Anos da Caricatura em Portugal (1997); do AmadoraCartoon no Fest. Int. de Bd da Amadora ( desde 1999…); do cartoon no Festival MouraBD (desde 1995); da Representação Portuguesa na Bienal de Caricatura de Ourense (desde 1998); de exposições na Bienal de Humor de Lleida – Humorália (em 2003 e 2005)… É o Coordenador da Humorgrafe, produtora de eventos de humor gráfico em Portugal (com mais de 300 iniciativas produzidas). Director do Salão Nacional Humor de Imprensa (de 1987 a 2006), do Salão Livre de Humor Nacional (1998 – 2003), do Salão Luso-Galaico de Caricatura de Vila Real (desde 1997), do Fest Int. Em 2018 no âmbito da comemoração dos 50 Anos do Jornal TREVIM, este periódico / Cooperativa outorgou-me o "Prémio Reconhecimento" no âmbito do Humor
