Bernard Bouton, Homenaje al Día Internacional de la Mujer Trabajadora en el Museo Diogenes Taborda
En el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer Trabajadora, también llamado Día Internacional de la Mujer, el Museo de Humor Gráfico Diogenes Taborda presenta una serie de dibujos de Bernard Bouton, simpáticas viñetas de humor gráfico, donde Bernard interpreta escenas cotidianas de las mujeres de don Quijote, Aladino, Chopin , ,Dunant , Hitchcock , Holmes , Newton, Stradivarius, Stravinski , obras realizadas por el artista en homenaje a la lucha de la mujer por su participación, en pie de igualdad con el hombre, en la sociedad y en su desarrollo íntegro como persona. Bernard Bouton es un dibujante francés. Su primer dibujo animado fue publicado en la revista francesa L 'Express en 1974 y desde entonces numerosas de sus obras han aparecido en muchos periódicos y revistas de todo el mundo. Bernard realizo varias exposiciones personales (por ejemplo, en 2000- Mouscron / Bélgica, 2005- Olsztyn / Polonia, 2005- Osijek / Croacia, etc.). Participa tambien en concursos internacionales de Humor Gráfico donde ha sido galardonado en varias ocasiones. Fue jurado, curador de exposiciones a nivel internacional y es actualmente secretario general en FECO (Federación Internacional de dibujantes). Él está viviendo y trabajando en Francheville cerca de Lyon, Francia.

33. AYDIN DOĞAN INTERNATIONAL CARTOON COMPETITION 2016•
The Aydın Doğan International Cartoon
Competition is organized every year in Turkey by the Aydın Doğan Foundation.
• The competition is open to professional and amateur cartoonists from all over
the world.
• The Jury, composed of international members, will meet in June 2016.
• The 33rd Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition will be celebrated
with an award ceremony in October 2016 in Istanbul.
CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
1. Choice of subject is free.
2. Only original cartoons will be accepted. Cartoons sent as printouts should
bear original signatures of cartoonists. Photographs, photocopies, etc. will
not be accepted.
3. Size of cartoons should not exceed 29.7 x 42cm (A3 paper size).
4. Participants are expected to send the filled out participation form, with a
short curriculum vitae and a photograph, together with their cartoons. Please
fill out the form attached or download it from www.aydindoganvakfi.org.tr. The
documents should be sent to Aydın Doğan Foundation, Burhaniye Mahallesi Kısıklı Cad. No
65, 34676 Üsküdar Istanbul, Turkey.
5. The Foundation will not be responsible for any damage that may occur during
postage.
6. Award-winning cartoons will not be returned to their artists.
7. By filling out the participation form, the participant declares and accepts
in advance that (s)he grants license in form of non-exclusive simple license to
Aydın Doğan Foundation without any limitations on location, time period and
number including assignment to third parties in relation to the usage rights of
financial rights such as processing, duplication, distribution, representation,
indication and transmission to the public via audio and/or visual means (s)he
holds over the cartoon(s) which will enter the competition as defined under
Articles 21-25 of the Law No. 5846 on Turkish Intellectual and Artistic Works;
and that (s)he gives consent to Aydın Doğan Foundation to exhibit such
cartoon(s), to keep them in its archives, to publish them on the Internet or
through other media or to use them in any other way without any limitations.
8. Should the cartoon(s) which enters the competition earns a rank and/or a
prize, the participant declares and accepts in advance that (s)he transfers the
financial rights such as processing, duplication, distribution, representation,
indication and transmission to the public via audio and/or visual means (s)he
holds over the cartoon(s) which earned a rank and/or a prize to the Aydın Doğan
Foundation without any limitations on location, time period and number
including assignment to third parties under Articles 21-25 of the Law No. 5846
on Turkish Intellectual and Artistic Work; and that (s)he gives consent to
Aydın Doğan Foundation to exhibit such cartoon(s), to keep them in its
archives, to publish them on the Internet or through other media or to use them
in any other way without any limitations; and that (s)he does not have any
right of disposition over the financial rights subject to transfer and thus
cannot enter into any transactions with third parties in relation to
transferred financial rights.
9. The Foundation will cover travel and accommodation expenses of the first
three award-winning cartoonists for the award ceremony in Turkey.
10. Cartoons that have not received any awards shall be returned to their
owners upon written application to the Foundation within one year. The
responsibility of the Foundation finishes after one year.
11. The deadline for entries is Friday, May
6, 2016.
12. Jury members cannot participate in the competition in the year they act as
a jury member.
13. The decision to upload the cartoons sent to the competition on the Virtual
Museum lies with the Aydın Doğan Foundation.

Millions of children all over the world are continuously affected by
various inequalities between girls and boys. Adolescent girls need to be
empowered and their skills for daily life need to be enhanced through education
in order to resolve this predicament. Investing in the future of young girls
will also help fight against poverty, inequality, and sex discrimination.
Innovative solutions are required for improving the education levels of girls
and young women. Education of girls is an impetus that supports national
development objectives, according to findings. An incomplete education signifies
a squandered potential.
The Aydın Doğan Foundation puts forth efforts on education of girls in order to
enhance women’s position in society in line with the universal principle of
gender equality.
The Aydın Doğan Foundation on its 20th anniversary has decided to present the
AYDIN DOĞAN FOUNDATION 20TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL AWARD along with the standard
awards.
The first prize among the cartoons with
the theme of “Powerful Girls, a Powerful World: an end to poverty, inequality
and sex discrimination” will be awarded $8,000

INTERNATIONAL CONTEST DRAWING WORLD CITIES
This year 2016 we celebrate the 23 years of Calicomix,
this Festival invites artists from all over the world to participate with
images of their cities or during their studies. Each participant can send up to
5 works and up to 30 for established groups (Urban Sketchers).
Illustrations of architecture, people, places,
festivals, etc. They may be accompanied by reference or anecdotal texts.
The technique is free, presented in files with 300 dpi
resolution

For the dissemination of his work, every artist must
send your personal data: full name or nickname, nationality, email and name of
the work.
IS NOT A COMPETITION, this is a sample of graphic
artists in the world. Participation in the event Calicomix Foundation
authorizes the use of the material sent us, for use in exhibitions,
distribution, publications and reference material, where the author's name is
guaranteed. You can sent works that have already participated in other events.
The selected works will be in CALI ILUSTRA digital
book to be presented on social networks from July 7 as a tribute to the city of
Santiago de Cali Colombia in the 480 years of its foundation.
Event activities will be held from 7 to 30 July, with
exhibitions, workshops, conferences and drawings in public spaces.
The Calicomix Foundation is a nonprofit organization
that makes its festival with free and open to all public activities.
The main venue is the Departmental Library Jorge
Garcés Borrero, with regional offices in the Centennial Library, cultural
venues and cities of Palmira, Sevilla and Caicedonia in Valle del Cauca.
The exhibition of these works will be stay in
libraries, universities and different events in all the country, accompanied by
conferences with the process systematization.
Graphic exhibitions will be complemented by the
intervention of soundscaping, interdisciplinary research of the group ICESI
University of Cali.

Calicomix 2016 convoca a los artistas del mundo a participar con imágenes de

estas obras estarán itinerando en bibliotecas, universidades y en diferentes

proceso de investigación del grupo interdisciplinario de la Universidad ICESI
de la ciudad de Cali.

“Libo International Children Animation and Comics Festival 2016” (ICACF 2016)——Green Gem International Competition organized by Culture & Multimedia International Association is an open competition.
The entries for the competition include all artworks which reflect the contents about the children with various subjects by qualified artists using a variety of techniques. The children are encouraged to submit their works for competition, exhibition and publication.

[a] Maximum A3 (297mm x 420 mm), minimum A4(210mm×297mm).
[b] Any printing submission will not be accepted (work can be submitted in either computer or hand drawing; however, the electronic-version of submission is definitely required).
[c] Participants can also send electronic edition( scanning copy) with a minimum size of “300 dpi” in “.TIFF” or “.JPG” to cmiassn@163.com.
2. Language:
[a] All works are preferred to be subtitled in English.
[b] The story background, synopsis, brief introduction, and character description are required in either English or mother language electronic-version.
3. Form and photo

The applicant must be the copyright owner of the submission.

Cash prizes along with a certificate for each award as follows:

1) The jury has the right of final distribution of statutory prize and all of the jury’s decisions are final.
2) Organizers plan to award the artist with the best debut and will give him/her the opportunity for an individual exhibition at the Gallery which will be included in the 2016 program.

2) Submission finalists would be included in the album. And the certificates and albums will be sent to the finalists.

1. Artists of work qualified for the exhibition will be given a presentation copy of the catalogue.
2. Artwork sent to the exhibitions will be exhibited in the country and abroad after the main exhibition.
◆ Competition provisions
1. Organizers reserve the right to use all submitted artwork for advertising purposes without any special fees paid to the artists that include being exhibited and reproduced in a variety of advertising materials as well as printed and circulated in catalogues.
2. The prize-winning works become the property of the organizers and will be included in the collection of the Gallery.
3. The exhibition organizers are the final judges in interpretation of the rules and
regulations.
4. By sending his/her work, the artist agrees to the mentioned above rules and regulations .
