BOSTOONS 2010 BOSTON INTERNATIONAL HUMOR FESTIVAL
Boston, Massachusetts, February 1, 2010
Dear friends:
In the summer of 2010 the City of Boston will be the site of a cultural event that will bring together the works of humorists from all over the world. The 1st International Humor Festival BOSTOONS 2010 is an event sponsored by the online magazine EL BUS de Lenguaviva, the Latino Professional Network and other institutions and organizations. BOSTOONS 2010 will be a wonderful opportunity for the public to appreciate humor and satire as incisive genres and unique ways of cultural enrichment. The Festival, which comprises both cartoon and humorous text contests, will take place from August 14th to 21st, 2010. The deadline to submit works by email is June 30th, 2010.

Este verano la ciudad de Boston será sede de un evento cultural que agrupará las obras de humoristas de todo el mundo. El I Festival Internacional de Humor BOSTOONS 2010 es un evento patrocinado por la revista humorística digital EL BUS de Lenguaviva, la Latino Professional Network y otras organizaciones e instituciones. BOSTOONS 2010 será una magnífica oportunidad para que el público bostoniano aprecie el humor y la sátira como géneros artísticos incisivos, en tanto que formas singulares de enriquecimiento cultural. El Festival, que comprende concursos de dibujos y textos humorísticos, tendrá lugar del 14 al 21 de agosto de 2010. La fecha límite para el envío de trabajos por correo electrónico es el 30 de junio de 2010.
